I haven’t had much time to crochet lately with work and whatnot, but for Christmas I did make a few gifts for friends (yeah, I know… talk about a delayed post). None of my own creations this time but I wanted to share the work anyway and promote the awesome places these patterns came from:
Portal Cube:
This incredibly awesome Portal cube with slight modifications came from one my my favorite Ami blogs of all time Nerdigurmi and you can find the amazing pattern here.
Kawaii Chibis:
Also from Nerdigurmi are these adorable Kawaii Chibis that I made as kitty toys with a bell in them.
Little Red Lobster:
I made KARABOUTS Little Blue Lobster as a little red lobster for a friend’s kitty who loved a little red lobster toy to death. Now I can make her as many as she needs

So for Christmas this year I made Yoda’s in light of my current obession with playing SWTOR from the amazing patterns by Lucyravenscar. They were a big hit and super adorable.

Another amigurumi for gifting. This was for a friend’s birthday (and I gave it to him last week) and tied it to his main gift. A really cute and simple ami for any mario fan. Find the Bob-omb pattern here and enjoy his sadistic cuteness (isn’t it unfair that something that’s about to explode is that cute?).

The Katamari Prince is one of the first patterns I have done that I was REALLY excited to make and it is one of the many patterns that have made me a HUGE fan of Nerdigurumi and all her work. She has an amazing list of FREE patterns and all kinds of information.
Anyway, I love Katamari Damacy, and may make another Prince for myself at some point but my intention with this one was to give it to a good friend in Boston as soon as I found the magnetic Katamari Ball Pattern to go with him.
He is now in his permanent home with my friend as a birthday present (and that friend’s birthday happens to be today too!). I know he is in good hands
