I’m Jen. By day I am a freelance web developer and designer. In my free time I enjoy reading, anime and manga, video games and crochet in particular amigurumi. My mother taught me how to crochet when I was about 10 or 12. Last year after not crocheting for awhile I took it up again, but became frustrated with my never ending afghan and pile of granny squares. Early this year I found amigurumi and haven’t been able to stop making them. I learned a lot from some of the generous people within the community but became frustrated when I reached a point where I really wanted to make certain items but couldn’t find patterns for them. I knew I could figure it out myself and so that’s what I started to do and that’s the point I am at now.
The items I enjoy making are often based off of anime or video games and I really have no want to get sued for trying to make a profit off something I don’t hold the copyright to so therefore I have no intention of selling my patterns. And the web developer in me is all about the open source mentality. This is my hobby and I want it to stay the fun relaxing thing that gets me away from the computer and it takes me too much time to make a finished object to ever make it worth the time. All I ask is that you link to either the pattern page on this site or on Ravelry and never directly to any pattern’s PDF, do not load any pattern’s PDF to your site or pass if off as your own and do not sell any patterns I post here. If you would like to make the items here and sell them then feel free.
If you have any questions or corrections to a pattern please post in the comments and I will respond within the comments or you can always email me. Please don’t ask me to create any items (paid or free) as I just make things for friends and myself as I have time. If you’re on Ravelry please feel free to find me and friend me if you like.
